The Ohio State-Michigan game sits a little over a month away, but the Buckeyes stoked the fire just a little bit when they offered Gareon Conley (Massillon, Ohio/Washington).

The ESPN 150 cornerback -- he?s ranked 61st in the nation and ninth at his position -- has been a Wolverines commit since March 10, but that didn?t stop Ohio State from offering.

The senior confirmed the offer via text message.

Yeah would be a great steal. Interested to hear his thoughts on the offer. He has displayed some interest in taking visits. I know his mom is urging him to take a few but she lives on the west coast and is trying to get him to head that way. If we lose him i feel it would be a greater loss than David Dawson.
