In the NFL, being a bad teammate is probably worse than doing things are are illegal etc.Hey, the league has given second shots to players with criminal records; and Eli Apple is just accused of being a bad teammate. If he can play, teams will give him a second shot, probably a 3rd or 4th too.

Who stood out at Giants OTAs? (6/04)
The New York Giants held their seventh of 10 OTA practices on Monday at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. This is their third and final week of OTAs before mandatory minicamp, which begins next Tuesday. Here are the standouts from OTA No. 7:
CB ELI APPLE
If it were a game, Apple saved the Giants 14 points. The third-year cornerback broke up two potential touchdowns, both on passes from Eli Manning. The first was intended for Sterling Shepard, and the second was headed for Hunter Sharp during work in the red zone. Apple keeps stacking together quality practices this spring in a new defense.
