Doran says tOSU and MSU are still his leaders. He likes that Michigan State will let him play both sides of the ball.

This is not a fact, it's an assumption made by people who aren't following recruiting the right way.If his heart was set on being a Buckeye, he would have committed by now, he hasn't.

What?! Don't be ridiculous, as soon as kids know where they want to go they commit immediately!Buckeye86;1782786; said:couldn't you say the exact same thing about MSU?
if his heart was set on being a Spartan, he would have committed by now, yet no commitment...
it's understandable that you would like the kid to be a Spartan, but things are getting a little desperate up north when you have to turn to rationales like that
the writing is on the wall with this one, MSU is pulling out all the stops (the whole "you can plan both ways" reeks of desperation) but they are still fighting an uphill battle
could it be that Grant has been a Buckeye for months, and he is just being respectful to his dad by giving MSU a second, third, fourth, and fifth look?
that seems just as likely as anything you are hoping is going on

There will be a time where an Ohio kid goes elsewhere over tOSU, because he likes the other school more, for PT, etc.
Grant may be the kid to break the mold.
