I think it's fair to both say that A. he should be held (and is) responsible for his own actions and B. he needs to get some fucking help (in whatever form that help comes). Those aren't contrary opinions. Hell, Abenaki even SAID he should be held accountable right before saying he needs help.

I don't see anybody saying his actions are excusable or not his fault or that he shouldn't be held accountable. Just that the dude clearly needs to get some shit figured out right soon and he's probably going to need some help doing that.

I've wished the death penalty on kids younger than him. I didn't want to do it. I felt I owed it to them.

Help is the key term I have an issue with. He needs consequences.
