CB Aaron Scott (Official Thread)

As he should, RB. You're spot on. Kids today have more opportunities to see other schools, certainly hear from them more than yesteryear. Being wooed and pursued by some elite programs would certainly be exciting to an 18 year old kid, and from all I've read or heard, these recruiters are all silver-tongued devils, and they all sell the sizzle on the steak. "Look at XXX, you remind me of him, and he's making millions in the NFL". Pretty much can assure you I wasn't mature enough then (or now!) not to fall for all the BS and half-truths. Much less the home-town peer pressure to go to the local university (really doesn't matter where). Chuckle when you see a kid commit, decommit, recommit, and then go somewhere else. Don't blame them at all (unless of course it's tOSU we're talking about). Now with the portal in play, after a couple of years, it's all re-happening again. Anyone taken a position with a company, based on your research, interviews, etc. only to get in there and find out that all was not sweetness and nice? Go Bucks!

Birm indicated that Michigan would be going all in to press any advantage or momentum they may currently have to get him to commit during his visit or at the very least get him to cancel his Ohio State official.

As long as he’s still planning to take his visit to Ohio State, that’s a positive sign in and of itself.

He also said he hasn't changed his opinion and believes that he'll ultimately sign with Ohio State.

Maybe I missed it, but when is his visit to OSU scheduled?

I haven't heard or seen the source, but I saw that Chad Simmons had some positive things to say about Scott and the Buckeyes. Anyone got where that's coming from?
