Cavs-Pistons Second Round Playoff Series

yet if Detroit is perceived as getting any sort of home court advantage, you'll be pissed about it.

It's been a very balanced game, with ridiculous calls going both ways.

I know, sorry, im just really hoping we can take this game. The Cavs are finally in the play-offs and I dont want it too end.

The arena is deafening right now...Varejos defense is great and Snow is coming up huge...

I read on a different board that after Wallace rolled his ankle, they played Twist and Shout, did anyone hear that?

Here's to hoping that Sheed's ankle swells up to the size of his head overnight. I guarantee that he needs to get a better tape job in the future.

If the Cavs can keep the Pistons in these close defensive games they seem to have the advantage. The Pistons look like they get tired at the end of the games.

I think the perfect word to describe this game is KARMA.

I think we have the Pistons on thier heels right now and if we can continue to get these performances from guys besides LBJ and if Hughes comes back and plays inspired, we might be in for a ride none of us expected.

To be quite honest, I'm surprised that the Cavs pulled this one off. They didn't shoot very well from the line, and LeBron didn't shoot well or control the ball very well. If you told me before the game tonight that LeBron was going to turn the ball over 8 times, and shoot 8-23 from the floor and 5-10 from the FT line, I would have said they stood no chance. However, their defensive performance was outstanding. The Cavs have unexpectedly made this a very close series, and they need to keep playing tough defense to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Great win. I'm really happy to see that we're able to win even when LeBron isn't doing his best scoring (8-23 from the field).

1. LeBron is turning into more of a leader. He stepped up other aspects of his game (8 assists and 9 boards) when the scoring wasn't there tonight. Additionally, as anyone who watched the Cavs during the regular season can tell you, his defense is light years ahead of where it was 40 games ago. The block he had on Billupp's layup was classic.
2. It's also really nice to see other people on the team besides LeBron step up, which is what was kind of lacking in the series with the Wiz.
3. Will Rasheed Wallace now please shut up? Someone already cited his crummy shooting, which he complimented nicely by crying to the refs and temporarily leaving the game due to injury. What a star. :roll1:
4. I'm not sure I agree with the earlier post that asserted the Cavs got the short end of the stick from the referees. I thought the officiating was bad, but it was bad for both sides.
