Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

I thought LeBron got all of the calls, but DWade is in a whole other league in that department. Gibson was called for two fouls without even touching Wade in the 2nd half...amazing.
The non-goaltending was the icing on the cake. Fucking ponderous.

There's no doubt LBJ gets his share of calls, as do Kobe, Durant, Melo, etc...but Wade is in another league. It's actually awe-inspiring.

the loose ball foul on daniel gibson was one of the single worst calls i've seen this season. the non-goaltending was a flat out butcher job. wade gets so many calls it's beyond ridiculous. that's why it was so great to see him brick the potential game winner.

Don't forget the two free throws with like 30 seconds left hahahaha

I get so angry watching the Heat play. I don't hate Wade because it's nothing that he's doing(unless he's blowing the refs or paying them). But my god, if you give Wade a dirty look it's a foul.

1. great sequence at the end by Lebron, that was clutch

2. Fuck you Dwayne Wade

3. Can you imagine if Lebron and Wade actually did end up on the same team after this summer? Their team would lead the league in FT attempts by at least 200.

Damn, what was going on with the game tonight? Sounds like some crappy refs. Were they as bad as they have been with the Mavs in the playoffs? Because its obvious they tried to take the game away from the Mavs in past seasons.

Every fanbase always thinks their team is getting screwed by the refs. The reality is the best players are that much harder to guard and can put themselves in position with the ball that other players can't.

There was an interesting follow up study to that infamous series against the Mavs in the finals when the Heat won it. Does anyone remember where to find this? Mark Cuban of course thought it was some big conspiracy and the league was wanting Wade to win, blah blah blah... An unbiased guy "re-reffed" the whole series one play at a time in slo-mo, described it play-by-play on his website, and it was pretty much dead even with how many of the calls (on Wade and in total) could have went the other way.

Living in Detroit and being a Cavs fan, a few years ago in the playoffs a buddy was b*tching about all the calls Lebron and the Cavs were getting. I still had the game on DVR and told him to come over early before the next game. We walked through just about every single call and he was amazed that the calls weren't actually as bad as he remembered him.

This happens with every fanbase though, so I can't really complain. In 80% of basketball games, 75% of each team's fans think the refs were out to get them.

It might actually hurt Wade since the refs probably wouldn't give him the fouls that they don't give Lebron. I really hope the NBA office gets a copy of that tape because some of those calls were ridiculous.

Hickson is in beast mode.

Prime reason I want to hold on to JJ. In a year or two this will what we expect from him on a regular basis. Yeah they might be able to get a little better this season if they traded him for a guy like Jamison, but in 2 years Jamison will be old/gone and JJ would be a beast someplace else. Lebron is going to make his decision mostly on which team gives him the best chance to win over the next 5-6 years. The Cavs need to hold onto their good young player to do this. I would need a guy like Bosh in order to move JJ.
