No one wakes up in the morning and asks to become schizophrenic, clinically depressed, or any other form of mental illness. Hopefully they'll autopsy the guy but barring a tumor on his brain there isn't likely to be evidence of what caused him to snap. Regardless, his actions are not those of a sane person.

I may have a twisted sense of humor, but I'm not going to personally attack someone for something beyond their control.

Coming from the guy who bumped the Brady Quinn thread to make a joke about this situation, this commentary is meaningless to me.

I was unaware of:

1) Jake's psychology degree

2) Mental illness being a requirement for murder/suicides.

Neither correlation exists and the point being is a 3 month old now doesn't have any parents in his/her life. And his commentary rings rather hollow when he makes stupid jokes about Brady Quinn being the QB for the Chiefs causing it.

He could've gotten into a fight with his girlfriend, shot her, then shot himself out of hysteria or guilt or not wanting to go to prison or whatever. Or he could've been mentally ill.

He played one of the most violent positions in a violent sport for years. Saying that he might have been sick isn't unreasonable.

I know it's not. I'm just saying it wasn't a requirement unlike what Jake said....and it's not up to us to assume anything, which is what his persona does on here anyway.
