Maybe it's simply because Fox didn't (evidently) get her permission to use her likeness in the show.

Back in the day, she, Harvey Korman, and Tim Conway put on quite a show. It was live and improvised. Many's the skit they could not complete without busting a gut right on the set. And that made it even funnier.

(Aside: Conway's slowpoke schtick was a riot in itself. He was born in Cleveland, and if memory serves, did some radio work early on with Ghoulardi.)
