Can't get rid of ActiveX prompt...

Can anyone help? When I go to my team's hockey web site, www.cbusmonkeys.com, I get an ActiveX prompt from IE7 that I have to hit o.k. on everytime it pops up. It doesn't happen on my laptop, so I took my laptop over to the desktop (where it's happening) and copied the settings from the Advanced Security tab in the options menu. I also copied the rest of the settings from the other tabs. It still does it and I don't know where else it might be coming from. Although it may not seem annoying to an outsider, I am the site builder/maintenance and have to visit it often. Having to hit o.k. everytime is not something I'm fond of right now. Any help?

I got the same prompt when I accessed the site from my work computer.

BTW, loved your bio, "currently the 2nd fattest man in the world." :slappy:

:) Am I lying Thump? The truth hurts but I must face the fact I need to cut down to 12 burgers at lunch. And don't give me that "Nice personality" bullshit.

In all seriousness, it's the only web site that my computer acts in that manner. I didn't know if it was my script or a setting on my system.

You may have one of the active x options set to prompt instead of just allow. It would be in your internet options, under the security tab. Click the custom level button at the bottom. Quickest way to fix it is just to reset the security level by choosing medium at the bottom, and clicking reset.......

Tried that bud, thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah I somehow completely didnt read your initial post when I saw this thread. I am an rtard

There was a patch for IE 6 a while back that caused this same thing to happen. Then another patch was released later that un-did it. I will try to find something similar for IE7. I am running 7 on vista, and I also get the prompt, which gives me something to work with.
