I remember seeing that play work once, but I don't know who ran it. The guy catching the bounced lateral acted disgusted for a second, and the defense stopped playing, just as designed.

I think Whisky ran it once..but it was back in the Al Toone era. Then I think he threw a pass for a long gain.Also if Jo Pa's OL doesn't come to play, PSU could be shut out.

Our D looked good in that game, but our offense was definitely characterized by one and only one bright spot heading into NW -- Nuuge!!

This sets up differently IMHO. The offense has not looked better than in the last game. Furthermore we have consistently had good D against all manner of opponents.

Certainly not a given - and the Buckeyes may indeed have to work hard against what was (till last week at least) a seemingly stout as nails Penn State Defense.

The game that has me more worried is the Oct 15th showdown with those Spartans. Not that I am not concerned about the 10/8 visit to Happy Valley - but MSU is putting up huuge numbers right now - their confidence has to be absolutely sky-high.

holy smokes... that's some dumb shit right there... it's like a spread version of the fumblerooskie... that being said, if JT EVER calls that play, i will get into my car, drive 2000 miles to C-bus, knock on his door, and slap him silly for calling that crap... well, unless he calls it against scUM and it works... :p
