An attorney who said he represents Cam Newton and his family told an Atlanta TV station Thursday that the Auburn quarterback has not taken any money in exchange for him playing college football.
"No money has been offered to Cam Newton," lawyer George Lawson told WSB-TV in Atlanta. "Cam Newton [hasn't] asked for any money."

from what i've read from actual media type, Mississippi St. is in more shit than Auburn.

if John Bond and/or Bill Bell (both MSU boosters) had any direct contact with Cam or his family, that is supposed to be a major violation.
