Actually, one of the big projects Clarity's wanted to have here since the start of BP was a stats engine. Still does, I know... it gets pushed to the back burner, though. If you're bored and want to build one...

If anyone wants to pay me a salary for the rest of my life so I don't have to do any "real" work, I'll gladly start on a Retrosheet site for college football. :p

FWIW I have the full stats back to 2001...& for 96-98 (gotta love the O-Zone archives).

99 & 00 should be online somewhere...just gotta find the right orphaned page.

Sent emails to the athletic department, NCAA & Chris Stassen.

No way in hell am I paying STATS to use their database.

It would be awesome if someone could take all this information and put it someplace, I am thinking a huge room full of sticky notes filled with random scribblings but I am open to other suggestions.

I hear they have computers on the internet now.
