Who do you think well be the big time upsets of the year?
Last year, you could obviously list the UNC victory over Miami as a big one. Then there was the Northwestern game....
I'm going to go out and start it out by predicting a huge upset to USC's undefeated run.
USC will lost to Cal in a fairly close game. USC lost its 3 best defensive linemen to the draft, and then lost 2 linebackers.
Cal has who I see as the second best NCAA coach in Jeff Tedford. Despite the slightly pass oriented offense Cal runs, Cal is going to run up the score (literally) by pounding the ball right at USC's interior line. Marshawn Lynch is going to be as good as Adrian Peterson was last year. Mark my words. If anybody watched their bowl game, he was an absolute force as a backup to JJ Arrington.
USC's awesome offense will make it a very close game, but I think Cal will win due to being able to run the clock with a stellar run game and a homefield advantage.
