He used to be a relentless recruiter for Saban, ie, he found ways to drop bags in unethical ways that many others would refrain from doing.

Besides that, he seems like he sucks at the actual coaching aspect of coaching.

Truth be told, if they just said “Ron Rivera” instead, I would wonder why the Panthers former HC was commenting on Lupoi’s failures as Cal’s HC.

I had no clue he was their GM until seeing this story. Ideally they would say Cal GM Ron Rivera but if there are character limits for the headline or tweet I suppose cal GM would give the most accurate context clearly.
