Wish Spectrum cared that much about hanging on to customers. You call to tell them you're dropping in my area and they just go "okay, good luck." Of course they don't care, because your internet only rate goes up by like 50% when you unbundle.
What's funny is Spectrum is on point with business fiber and treats residential customers like shit. AT&T, under Randall Stephenson, - once the leader in 'five-nines' business contracts - treats all their customers terribly.
AT&T's 'module' system of business service is an unmitigated shit-show. Been billed for nearly two years for service that was never turned up because of a transposition error on the MSA, and every person I talk to on the phone is in a call center in India reading from a script.
If I need to increase my metro ethernet bandwidth on Spectrum, I make a phone call to their Columbus NOC and it's adjusted in five minutes with no outage. AT&T would do three truck rolls and require I come into my office at 2:00AM to dial-in and schedule/coordinate a cut-over and IP change on every router and firewall.
When I called to cancel my residential TV & Video service with AT&T, I was absolutely floored by the fact I got somebody who was polite and spoke English as their primary language.
