2026 CA WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt is a Buckeye!!!

I know it's early in the 2026 recruiting game, and having recruits early hasn't always led to the best outcomes, but.....sure hate to see the other teams sprinting out to a lead. Please reread the first sentence, I did, but not used to seeing tOSU down that far in the rankings. I know, I know, that it's not how you start, but how you finish. Do so hope that tOSU is taking a 'more visit, less immediate commit' stance. Seems like the big names (5*+) are waiting to see how much NIL is to be spread around. And, from experience, the first offer sets the 'floor', with more to come on top. It has been pointed out by wiser posters than me, that tOSU simply isn't going to play that one-upsmanship game, and agree. Nor are they going to accept a commit, in order for that recruit to 'secure their place in the class' while they continue to visit etc. Just re-reading my own post points out how hard this recruiting game truly is, and what has become with the added dimension of NIL (let alone unlimited transfers). Not sure about the unlimited aspect, but am certain that will be corrected if in error. Go Bucks, and Lord, please give me the patience required to not be anxious or critical.
As to not derail a recruits thread, I’ll respond to this post in the 2026 forum thread.

Let’s keep this about KDW

Guess it's still "money talks, BS walks". Recruiting is ever-changing, and once read that he's wanting to follow his WR running mate to tOSU. Guess that's changed. Or not, depending on who one listens to. Stay tuned.

There will be a discussion moving forward whether Dixon-Wyatt is not only a five-star receiver but the best receiver at Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei, which also features five-star Chris Henry Jr.
Dixon-Wyatt was great during his junior season (with Henry out due to injury) and he’s shown elite qualities this offseason from route running to speed and length and especially his hands.
Ohio State and Oregon are at the top of the list.

I believe Robert Frost said it best, "and miles to go before I sleep". Plenty of chicken left on that bone, and KDW is dancing the recruiting dance. Probably four of the five schools he's looking at will have excellent QBs, and OLs to complement him. Here's hoping.....go Bucks!
