An OSU safety target in the 2027 class has reopened his recruitment. Four-star California safety Khalil Terry decommitted from Michigan on Monday following significant interest from several big schools, including Ohio State. In his decommitment announcement, Terry said he’d put out a top seven list in the coming weeks.
Terry camped at OSU earlier this summer and lived in Ohio before moving to California, so the Buckeyes definitely have a shot here if they want to make a strong push for him. Per 247Sports’ composite rankings, Terry is considered the No. 201 prospect and the No. 21 safety in the 2027 class. Last year, he recorded 52 tackles, five tackles for loss, four interceptions and six pass breakups in 11 games.
