Per Biggins, OSU currently leads for Top50 DT Kasi Currie. He has a top 4 of us, Bama, TX, and OU. Interestingly enough, he hasn’t visited any of those schools. He’s been to USC and Oregon a bunch of times, but isn’t looking at them (as of now). Very early in the process still. Here’s what he told Gorney last month.
Teaming up with Wilder in Columbus has gotten into Currie’s head as well.
“My boy Khary Wilder is already committed there,” Currie said. “That would be cool. I like Ohio State a lot right now.
“I talk to coach Johnson every day. It’s been every day since I got offered.”

Gorney did a way too early predictions and predicted OSU to land big time DT Kasi Currie. I believe he would be our highest rated DT in quite some time.

Massive visits set up for priority DT Kasi Currie.
He will visit OSU on April 4, as well as an OV set up for May 29th.
This recruitment is purely going to come down to $. He’s the top DT on the board at both Oregon and Texas and other SEC schools are also pushing. As I noted in an earlier post, it certainly seems like we are willing to spend big at DT this cycle, and it’ll be fascinating to see which guy we decide to push our chips in on (similar to DJ Jacobs at Edge).
