In the same interview they said an un-named GM (I believe they said GM) said Nick was the best Center he's seen in 15 years...that's one hell of a compliment.

I think they said draft expert. Either way definitely a huge compliment.

As always, Nick was true class. When one of the talking heads made a comment about going to the team that would pay him the most he said he didn't care about being paid the most just being paid.

Mangold solidifies status



Ohio State center Nick Mangold had a time of 5.04 seconds in the 40-yard dash, sixth best among offensive lineman. He also did well in agility drills, strengthening his status as the top center in the draft.

Nick Mangold of Ohio St. performed very well and solidified himself as the top center in the draft and a possible first round pick. Also keep an eye on Oklahoma's Chris Chester, who can play a number of positions and really impressed with a 4.88 clocking.
