Buying a single ticket outside USA? OSU v Nebraska 6th Oct

Hi guys,

I'm travelling to the US in September and will be in Columbus for the Nebraska game. Problem is I'm travelling alone and all the tickets on the official Ticket Exchange linked from the OSU website are for 2 or more seats.

Every unofficial ticket website either requires an American billing/postal address, or the tickets would be sent so close to the game they would arrive in Australia after I would already fly out.

I don't really mind where I'm sitting, I've never been to a football game before, I just want to soak up the epic Buckeye atmosphere.

Are there many scalpers to buy a ticket from walking up to the stadium? I know it's dodgy but I can't see any other way I'd be able to get a ticket for one single seat to be bought from Australia.

Thanks!

Tons of scalpers, but that'll likely be a popular ticket - especially with several wins under the belt - plan on paying top dollar but tickets are always available around the stadium, down Lane Ave & Woody Hayes Blvd. You can get into everygame that way but check ebay once the season gets closer & starts.

You won't have to pay $400 for a single. I'd say $200 tops if you look around on gameday. You could save money by waiting until just before kickoff, but then you're going to miss the pregame and I wouldn't recommend that for someone that's never seen it. Get in your seat 30 minutes before kickoff.

But it isn't the top game which belongs to Michigan. at worst you could find that game for 200-250 from a scalper. Nebraska should run 150-175 from a reasonable seller.

Aww that's awesome, that's great news. I'll put that under my hat, means I don't need to worry about tickets until I get there. I arrive in Columbus on game day, possibly a flaw in planning but oh well, I get to soak up the atmosphere. And less money on tickets means more money to spend on merchandise, I like the way that works.

Thanks heaps for letting me know, big weight off my mind
