Butler +3.5 vs UConn (ov/un 129.5) Mon 9 ET, CBS

If you listen to Mike & Mike at all you probably know Liam's mum, the producer's mom, who lives in England and knows nothing about our sports. They went through the bracket with her, game by game, and she picked winners. They did this before the tourney began. I remember listening to it on my way to work. Usually her picks are just bizarre.

She had UConn and Butler in the title game, with UConn winning. I've got to find the audio.

Not only did Liam's mom pick the game right, she picked the score to be 53-39. It was 53-41.

WHAT THE FUCK

Mike & Mike just talked about the odds of that happening, and they were around 1 in 10,000,000. Unbelievable. When I heard her score prediction I laughed it off because it was so absurd. Then it happened.

The fairy godmother that turned Butler into a tournament "Butlerella" (i.e. a Cinderella team) forgot about the late start TV time for the final game. The clock struck 9:30 PM and Butlerella who magically swept through their first 5 games reverted back to a pumpkin for the finals. Thus allowing the evil step mother (Calhoon) and the weicked step sisters (UConn Huskies) to run away with the coveted glass "National Champsionship" slipper.

Butler is what it is: a #8 seed with 10 losses.

The ESPN coverage for this game is comical. They are all praising Calhoun and calling him an all-time great and not even mentioning the violations and suspension next season. If OSU wins the NC in football next year all they will talk about is how he was suspended for the first five games of the season and his violations. It's a joke.

like the kid gloves given to auburn.

They are the home of 139 of 144 regular season games and the entire tournament.

They don't pay big bucks to be objective.
