Burger King's Stacker/Heart attack on a bun

The fast food joints got away from this type of thing after Supersize Me came out. Apparently they think people have forgotten about that movie. Just wait till Fast Food Nation hits the big screen; then they will be eliminating this kind of crap again... or maybe not.

I think the Hardee's monster burger and this new Stacker are a direct response to the in your face paternalism of Supersize ME, and the whining of the food groups. Beef sells at fast food joints, not mineral water and walnut salad. Besides, Spurlock's diet wasn't exactly honest either-he was determined to eat 5,000 calories a day, so he drank gallons of soda along w/ the McDonald's menu, and refued to do any exercise whatsoever. Others have duplicated his diet, but replaced regular soda w/ diet, and didn't gain any weight...

I'm not sure I can get my mouth around it, but I might be willing to try it. I finished off a half-pounder once and still had room for french fries, and so maybe I could do this one, or maybe not. In any case, it wouldn't cause me to gain any weight in the long run because I don't eat like that at every meal. Anyone who takes Supersize Me seriously has lost all perspective in my opinion.
