Born and partly raised there, been back many times to visit family. Great old town, good place for a family, great pro sports culture. Nightlife is surprisingly vibrant, Lake Erie is right there for watersports in the summer and Holiday Valley for skiing the rest of the time. And of course the food, wings are just the tip of the iceberg...

I was there for a night. We got some pretty awesome pizza, walked down to the bar at which my band was playing, had some drinks, played, listened to an awesome band, then went back to our hotel. I didn't like being outside. It was cold, and I feared for my wallet. We met a homeless guy who claimed to be the original bassist for Rick James. His story was detailed and seemed fairly legit.

The only good experiences that I had in Buffalo was pizza and music, aside from that I wasn't a big fan. But I was only there for a night.
