Bills fans thanking Bengals' Andy Dalton with donations to his foundation (updated)

In case you hadn’t heard, the Buffalo Bills broke their streak of playoff-less seasons on Sunday night, gaining the sixth and final AFC playoff spot when the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens.

Andy Dalton’s 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Bond in the final minute of regulation gave the Bengals the win and the Baltimore the boot – had the Ravens won, they were in and the Bills would have been out.

The Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation has seen a spike in donations since the Bengals’ win.

And many of the donations have been $17, to mark the 17 seasons Buffalo went without making the postseason.

It’s unclear how the movement started.

The foundation also put out a statement on Monday thanking Bills fans for their generosity:

“Buffalo fans are a class act,” it read. “Thank you for showing your appreciation to Andy Dalton by supporting the families we serve. All of your donations will go to our outreach programs. We can do more with your help.”

Nice of the Bills (and Duff's) to send 1,440 wings (and a ton of extras) to the Cincinnati Bengals, who in turn donated the wings to the Children's Home of Cincinnati and the Boys and Girls Club.
On Thursday night, Duff’s took a truckload of chicken wings on the road to Ohio, as a thank you to the Bengals for beating the Baltimore Ravens and sending the Buffalo Bills to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years.

I've always preferred Duff's to the Anchor Bar (in Buffalo). Meatier wing, IMO.

I'm driving back to Buffalo with my dad, uncle, and brother-in-law to see my first game at New Era Field next weekend. Go Bills!

Awesome game, awesome atmosphere, awesome experience. We were actually hoping to leave a little early for the drive back to Columbus, but it was great to have such a good game that we had to stay right to the end. And boy were those Cincy fans chirping during that second half!

Josh Allen is a badass, just about impossible to take down on the first shot, and as of right now, today, he's the best QB from the 2018 draft. Total gamer and the leader of this team.
