We now know when Ohio State will play under the lights in 2016.
The Big Ten Conference Office and those in charge of scheduling for the ABC/ESPN networks announced the primetime schedule for it’s three major channels.
Ohio State will play in four of the conference’s seven primetime games throughout the 2016 season. The Buckeyes will be featured for four straight weeks.
Here are the following games that have been selected to broadcast.
Oct. 15 – Ohio State at Wisconsin, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, 8 p.m. EDT
Oct. 22 – Ohio State at Penn State, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, 8 p.m. EDT
Oct. 29 – Northwestern at Ohio State, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, 5:30 p.m. EDT
Nov. 5 – Nebraska at Ohio State, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2, 8 p.m. EST
The top conference game featured in week one of the conference season will be Michigan traveling to Rutgers. Nebraska and Wisconsin will join the featured bill alongside Northwestern at Ohio State on Oct. 29. Featured games in the Big Ten Conference will wrap up on Nov. 12 with Michigan travelling to Iowa.
Depending on the record of both teams, It wouldn’t be surprising if the network picks up Ohio State at Michigan State on Nov. 19.
The primetime non-conference slate has yet to be announced. Ohio State’s week 3 trip to Memorial Stadium to take on Oklahoma, could very well be the featured game of the week.
