Former Ohio State players are drawing attention to some important issues and organizations in Week 13 of the NFL.

NFL players have a chance to shine a spotlight on issues and causes important to them in Week 13 with custom cleats as part of the NFL's “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign.

More than 800 players participate in the annual event, and showcase some pretty [fire emoji] footwear. Some former Ohio State players will feature a variety of causes from pediatric and brain cancer research to fallen soldiers.

Joey Bosa’s cleats this week were designed by a young man he met at MD Anderson Cancer Center during his two trips to the Lombardi Trophy ceremony while at Ohio State. Bosa learned during his second visit that only 4% of all cancer research funding goes to pediatric cancer, an alarmingly low figure. The Buckeye is wearing bright gold cleats with “CHILDREN DESERVE #MORETHAN4” on Sunday.

Several Buckeyes took advantage of the League’s “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign and sported some of the organizations and issues that are important to them:

Children deserve more than 4 #morethan4 #pediatriccancer #mycleatsmycause

.@CamHeyward's cleats will represent the Heyward House Foundation, and be designed to bring cancer awareness.
