20,000 members and only 40 donations so far ? Step it up and
give some of that that cash.

Kudo's go those that already donated, alot of whom are multi time givers.

I've seen alot of new members in the past year, so you guys better give up beer, McDonalds, cigarettes, porn or weed for one day and donate that amount to this very worthwhile cause.

Over the last 2 months:

I have had to pay a plumbing contractor to fix water problems at my home,

.....an electrician to fix power problems at my home,

.....my wife's car has been to the mechanic's twice and is going in again this week to fix a third separate issue (this last one requiring the transmission to be pulled to fix the parking pawl.....yay!!!!),

.....we just had to buy orthopedic leg braces for my youngest,

.....paid for registration costs for my 2nd child to start school next year (and the monthly tuition bills are on their way...)

.....bought a new bed because my wife's side of our air-mattress bed got a leak,

.....and we just found out we're pregnant with our 4th! (probably how we got the leak in her air mattress :wink:


ANYWAY, with all that, and it may not be much, but I fully intend on allocating a portion of my next paycheck to this Spring's Fund Drive. I can't begin to tell everyone what enjoyment I get from this site, or the appreciation I have for those who maintain and contribute to it. BuckeyePlanet is the best Ohio State site / community on the web and I feel fortunate to have found it.

My personal financial situation is a bit crazy right now, but I believe that this place & these people are worth "tightening the ole belt" just a little more. And if I can do it, well..........:wink2:
