Ok I don't see anything like that (new page) so I guess I don't the right so how do I get that? Dynasty said it showed up after he searched for tatum but it isn't on that page either. I have a lot of info on jim Parker and no place to put it.sandgk;824962; said:No, the editor works within the browser - in a manner like the post reply applications that you use to post your question. Though, the editor icons, the syntax for links and general interface, will appear unfamiliar at first.
EDIT: Unless you specifically see a link on the Main Page for adding new pages you may not have rights (right now) to add new pages?

Thanks That is what I did but there is nothing that comes up asking to creat a page. However i stole sushi's link and changed the name to Jim_Parker and an edit page comes up and all I have to do to create a page is insert data .TADA hope you don't mind If I stole that Sushi I also found out just now that if you click on the "go" instead of search it does do what you say will happen so now I have two ways to create a pageClarity;826211; said:Do a search for Jim Parker. When it doesn't find a page, it will ask you if you'd like to create one. If you indicate that you would by clicking through on the link, you'll be taken directly to an editor. Once you hit submit on whatever you post there, there will be a Jim Parker page going forward, which you can edit with the 'Edit' link at the top when you visit it.
On another note -- "bee-pee-wee-kee" is just fun to say, even if that's abusing "wiki".

I missed the example pages when asking this. I like the concise bios, with attached links to the full wikipedia biographies.jwinslow;825353; said:2) What is the policy on reusing Wikipedia biographies? Can we use an existing profile, and add to it? Or are we looking for unique writeups that are also concise?
Brilliant!!jwinslow;826239; said:I missed the example pages when asking this. I like the concise bios, with attached links to the full wikipedia biographies.
> If there is not a wikipedia entry for a person (ie Grant Schwartz), should we create one on wikipedia.org and then link to it?
- That would allow more in-depth profiling without hogging the bpWiki profiles.

No you followed me correctly. It seems their pages are filled with trivial pages already, so I don't see the harm in a few more pebbles added to the grand canyon of info. Could you explain why they (might) wish we didn't add profiles on trivial players?Clarity;826244; said:Honestly, I don't know how excited Wikipedia.org would be about full blown entries for folks like David Purdy and Obie Stillwell. Maybe I'm misunderstanding though?
