BuckeyePlanet from a Blackberry?

Tim the Enchanter... WOLVERINE SLAYER!!
Hey gang,

I just got a new Blackberry 8830 with an unlimited data plan. It has a pretty decent web browser on it that works on virtually every site, but it does a pretty bad job with BuckeyePlanet.com. Specifically, it chokes on all the avatars, signatures, 'gifts', gold metals, etc. I turned off the picture loading feature, which helped, but there is still a lot of 'junk' text that makes it impractical to view our website.

Does anyone have any recommendations for viewing BuckeyePlanet.com from a Blackberry or other mobile web browser?

Can you send me a pic of how it displays? We might be able to put together a skin for phones 'n' such. Definitely can, actually... the tricky part is doing it in a way that handles upgrades nicely.

IAB and I try using BP on our Dingleberrys as well, it's not easy, but can be done. If a mobile friendly version could be figured out, that would be fantastic. I can definitely send you a pic of how it looks if that would help. I will be getting a 8830 next week as well. I have been using an 8703 for a few months now.

Get Opera Mini 4, it is a very nice browser for BlackBerry's. Navigate to www.operamini.com from the Blackberry Browser, download the .jad file and youre good to go. You can also download Opera for your computer and share bookmarks, etc.

This browser is an iPhone/Safari competitor. True web pages load and you can zoom in on specific areas. It is truly a nice browser.

Opera Mini is pretty cool. I will use this from now on until something better comes along. Thanks fanaticbuckeye!!
