Ah, the relief is over. Rebuilding process complete. I very much look forward to defending the title next year. Great season guys.

The league is back for 2015 - I've sent out email invites to all of last year's participants. Please renew ASAP if you're still in, or let me know if you don't plan to participate so I can line up new managers.

Also, I wanted to ask the group about the possibility of making this a pay league as a fundraiser for BP, with part of the pot going to participants. Would you be open to participating in this league as a pay league? What do you see as the ideal entry fee, prizes, and/or BP donation that would come out of something like this? If people aren't open to it we can scrap the idea altogether, but I though I'd float it out there to see if there'd be any interest.

$40 a head?

1st - $160 (40%)
2nd - $80 (20%)
3rd - $40 (10%)
BP- $120 (30%)
??????

Or just pay out Top 2 & BP....whatever people think lol. The issue is getting people to actually pay....we flirted with the idea of making our NCAA league a pay league last year...several said they would pay & never did.

I have always been a fan of 3rd place getting their money back, but that's when the payout is 100%. You don't want to make it too much or people won't want to or be able to pay. If you did $20 times 10 teams, that's $200...$100 to BP, and then maybe $65/$25/$10...that's a 130/50/20 split minus the BP donation.

I could be down for this. I personally don't want to spend much more than $20 as I am multiple other pay leagues already. If we are to pay out on 3rd place, then I would assume the losers of the semifinals plays for the third place the final week, correct?

9/10 participants from last year are back in. I'm giving @Buckeye_Mike (Amish Rake Fight) a few more days before opening up the spot to anybody who wants to join.

The draft has been set for Wednesday, Sept. 2 and 9PM. The keeper declaration deadline will be one week before on Aug. 26. If these times don't work please let me know. That seems like it's a little earlier than usual, but I can't do Tuesdays or Thursdays, and since it's usually best to avoid Fridays, weekends, holidays and Ohio State game days, that didn't leave many other options.

I am in the process of setting keeper values. I will not post them here, they will appear in Yahoo.

Keeper costs have been entered on Yahoo for all teams that have renewed for the upcoming season. Please let me know if you notice any discrepancies.
