Buckeye De La Salle Brother in the midsouth
I know there are thousands of fans like me who collect and cherish all kinds of Buckeye memorabilia.

Special in my Buckeyeana collection is a lapel pin that one of my former students found at an estate auction and gave me as a Christmas gift. The brass lapel pin, shaped like a football with a scarlet backdrop on the surface, commemorates the first year of the Varsity O Association at OSU. On either side of the Block O on the surface are the dates '13 and '14.

It would be neat to hear about some of the other kinds of Buckeye memorabilia that have become cherished possessions.

My most cherished Buckeye possession is an 8X10 photo of Jim Tressel personally autographed to me. What really makes it special is that he took the time and initiative to write "Go Bucks!" in Hangul (Korean) characters. Little stuff like that is what makes him a class act.

Mine is the pilon from the south east corner of the endzone from the 2002 scUM game. :groove:

Mine would have been the extra point ball from the first OT at the National Title game in 02 that Nugent kicked had I not relinquished it to the guy with 2 small kids behind me. :smash:

Having a conscience sucks some times.

Why the conscience? Did you shove the kids into the ground to get the ball?

In 1985 immediately after we beat #1 Iowa everyone rushed the field. Somewhere in that mass of humanity we stumbled across Brutus Buckeye. Oddly he was surrounded by Bucks fans who were smashing him in his buckeye head. Sometime in the skirmish Brutus's Baseball hat came unhooked from his buckeye head. We still have it.

My six-pack of OSU Heisman, Coke bottles from 1993.

I've never understood why you did that. They are younger and are therefore likely to see more OSU Championships than you, which in turn means they have a greater chance of catching another National Title Game football than you do.
