Although I can understand Holmes wanting to leave to try and help his family situation, I think it says alot that he is willing to stay another year, win the Big 10, and increase his stock Ten fold. I know it doesn't take a genius to realize that he needs at least another year, but sometimes these kids are so confident and get the dollar $ign$ in their eyes and just make terrible decisions. It is refreshing to see players like A.J. and Santonio. Hopefully thier decision to stay will have the same ramifcations as Mike Doss' decision to come back.

agreed. santonio has very legit reasons to both stay and go and very selfishly i am glad he will be here in 2005. we bring back virtually everyone (only big losses are the nuge, fraser, fox, and kne) and could be primed for another title run.
