Buckeye Planet Bowl Pick'em

I am in. Any idea when they will have that spreads up:huh:

Thanks for setting this up. You don't need to give me greenies for something they you have created. We should be giving you the greenies:)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the spreads apply in this contest. I think it is a pure pick-em, and you simply rank your picks in order of confidence, 34 for most confident, 1 for least. If the team you pick wins, you get the corresponding number of confidence points. Participant with the most points at the end of bowl season wins. If you hover your cursor over the matchup, I believe that the spread, along with other info, is listed.

Any chances of a winner-take-all v-bet again this year? I think I remember a couple of years ago, we had something where people signed up on yahoo and then put v-money into a v-bet (set amount for everyone, not too much), and then the winner got all the v-cash. Would that work out do you think?

I think so. that was for the NCAA tourney pool I set up a couple years ago.

make it a stipulation that everyone has to be signed up by the 18th to be included in the vbet?

We have one here at work and we have to pick our winners and then assign a number from 1 -34 to each game in the series. The points for correct game are then added up to get the winner. Cost $5 to enter, winner takes all.

Sounds good...no thoughts on v-cash level, but something that could add up to a decent payout. 500 per? 1000 per?

Thanks. Mr. Dumb ass here:! I remember that after I went back in. It is still harder than hell without the spread.
