my father's birthday is coming up. he's a big buckeye fan (as am i), and i would like to have sent to him publications that discuss the football (primarily) and basketball (secondarily) teams. i am sending to him the weekend dispatch papers (he lives out-of-state). any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. i'd search for more right now, but i am pressed for time... and i know that those who frequent bp will yield much better results with greater analysis in a short period of time.

I don't know about periodicals, but there are lot of books about the Buckeyes, examples:
