Buckeye Glass Down - Proper Burial

buckeyebri

Fight the Good Fight Everbody
  • Okay, tonight a tragedy occurred in my bar and a Buckeye Logo Beer glass was broken...What are the proper steps for burial of this possession. Should the logo, which remains intact be saved.

Side note: This was a gift from an old Spartan buddy of mine...

Thou shalt take a shard of thine broken glass and, with thy shard, spill the blood of thy wolverine enemy. Upon the spillage of thy foe's blood, thou shalt bathe the holy remains in the blood of thy bane and entomb the relic at the 50 yard line of the Horseshoe. So sayeth Woody. Amen.

Place the remains in a metal bucket with any remaining artifacts you have from the last 2 NC games...(Tibor has an extra program he can send you from Tempe)...add in a #13 jersey, a picture of Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, and Charles Woodson.

    Burn.

Then bury it the Georgia red clay so it can seep into the water supplies and inflict SEC speed with something similar to genital warts.

Mail the... umm.... remains to Dryden.

    Dryden...

Take the Anchor Hocking Factory Tour.

    When they aren't looking...

Dump the remains into the "seconds" bin in the bar ware department preferably an industructible beer mug ... where the remains will be remelted and used for new glassware.

Wait to see what happens to the glass... (By that, I mean walk to the factory shop)

Get one of the mugs made fron the borken glass...

    Mail back to buckeyebri...

Buckeyebri.... take mug to tropy shop, have logo engraved on mug.

    Drink.

    GLASS

    * Every month, we throw out enough glass bottles and jars to fill up a giant skyscraper. All of these jars are recyclable!

    * The energy saved from recycling one glass bottle can run a 100-watt light bulb for four hours. It also causes 20% less air pollution and 50% less water pollution than when a new bottle is made from raw materials.

    * A modern glass bottle would take 4000 years or more to decompose -- and even longer if it's in the landfill.

    * Mining and transporting raw materials for glass produces about 385 pounds of waste for every ton of glass that is made. If recycled glass is substituted for half of the raw materials, the waste is cut by more than 80%.

I think the bigger question is how to punish the perpetrator of the heinous crime of destroying such sacred property. :pissed:

After the burial you need to invest in some nice grippy gloves like WR's wear to hold these glasses and cover the entire floor in at least two feet of feathers. I'm sure there are lots of chicken feathers at all those farms around Indy!
