You may not want to hear from an Illini fan at this time, but I just wanted to send a message out on how I think you have the best fans and stadium in the world. It was my first trip to Columbus and the "Shoe" and cannot tell you how impressed I was with your fans and the whole gameday experience.
Your fans define class and the experience has changed me as a fan. Thanks to all of you for being so gracious.

Now go out and beat Michigan!

I came on here not to troll just to pass along some of the kind words that I received from other Buckeye fans. I wish you guys nothing but the best and hopefully we'll step up and beat NU this week. Good luck against Michigan, however I don't think you will need it.

Glad to hear you had a good trip. I saw several Illini fans when I was walking to the stadium and they were very pleasant. Exchanged hellos and wished each other good luck

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to C-Bus. We tire of the media hammering on Ohio State for that 1% of fans who act up while ignoring the fact that there are 300,000 fans on campus on game day who are respectful, classy fans.

While a loss to you guys seriously injured Ohio State's chances at back to back title game trips, it has shown that the Big Ten is not the chumps that SEC fans and the media make it out to be. A strong Illinois team can only be good for the conference.

Go handle your business and stomp some SEC ass in January. Well done Fighting Zookers

Congrats on the victory! Unfortunately, that game was my first time in Block O. The experience was GREAT, but the entire thing was obviously kind of ruined.

I was also there, and the Illini fans that I saw were very good people and cool about the victory. It was good seeing mutual sportsmanship between rival schools.

Great post. I hope we beat Missagain too, that you win out, and go beat the livin' hell out of an SEC team.............I just hope it's that little bastard in Gainesville..............sure would be sweet for Zook! :wink2:

I'm very glad to hear that you had a good experience. In a time when the conference is really getting beaten up by the broader sports media and by fans from other conferences, it's important that we treat each other well as visitors and maintain respect for other programs in the B10. We have too many enviroments that are "hostile" in the wrong ways -- the Horseshoe shouldn't be one of them.

Congrats on a great season. Zook has brought you guys a long way. If somehow you draw Florida in your bowl game, you will find a lot of Illini fans here. :wink:
