Is it expensive to be a Buckeyes fan?

Following the Ohio State men's basketball team to the Final Four this weekend in Atlanta could prove costly, especially if you also made it to Lexington, Ky., and San Antonio. Add the January excursion to Arizona to watch Ohio State in the BCS national championship game and budgets could be bursting at the seams throughout Buckeye Nation.

A price I think we're all willing to deal with. Not a bad problem to have, I mean...life is too short not to dump buckets of cash into college sports.

You can be either one, a "Buckeye" fan or a Buckeyes fan (fan of the Buckeyes)

Agreed... and one other thing is certain: Buckeye Nation is not short on fans so we'll have a good showing at events like this on matter how often we attend.

Football: Price of watching Buckeyes to go up

Ticket prices for Ohio State football games will rise by $1 if the Board of Trustees approves the hike Friday.

Prices will be $60 for the general public, $49 for faculty and staff and $30 for students.
Men's basketball tickets also will increase $1 for the general public, to a range of $15 to $25, and $1 for personal seat licenses, to $27. Student tickets will be $13.50 and faculty and staff tickets will be $20, an increase of 50 cents in each case.
