I hear Irizarry was a man amongst boys. scUM recruit Mundy couldn't cover him man to man, and couldn't tackle him either.

Mundy was rated pretty highly, no? I wouldn't of been able to tell it by his play, he didn't do squat

Irizarry looked pretty good out there. I don't know what his numbers were, but when I was watching him I couldn't help but picture next year with everyone keying in on our WRs, Irizarry coming in for a play or two and being 1-on-1 with a LB or safety... I'll be surprised if he doesn't get some TDs for us this year as a true frosh... not a bad punter either and had a TD saving tackle as a punter.

Mundy looked pretty good as a PR/KR, but he couldn't cover 1-on-1.

It's funny how you hear so much hoopla about a recruit and then you watch them and think to yourself, who were they watching? Mundy made a couple nice returns but Irizarry abused him. LI is a special talent but he is a TE and doesn't have the speed Mundy will see when he gets into the Big Ten schedule. I thought Lukens was much more impressive. Curt just seems to have a nose for the ball.
Ohio totally outclassed PA. Unfortunately I think we missed out in a couple good players in Crable and Ray Edwards. Joel Holler looked big and terribly slow so I don't feel as bad about losing out on him although he has plenty of time to make me change my mind.
Patterson, Irizarry, Maupin, Smith, Lukens, and Barton were very impressive and I can't see Patterson and LI being redshirted.
Gonzalez and Devin Jordan didn't really stand out but I'll take them. If Mauk had a better arm I think Gonzo would have had a long touchdown in the second half IIRC because he was clearly behind the DB but had to come back for an underthrown ball. Jordan made a crushing block downfield(Am I the only one who loves seeing a WR light a DB up?) and should be a solid possession receiver in Columbus.

Watched the Big33 game. Paterson was exceptional. The DLine will be good for years to come with Paterson and the "Mighty Quinn" (Pitcock RS Freshman). 
I did not know that LI could punt.
Lukens looked really good on special teams. He was always around the ball.
Maupin showed enough quickness that he will probably play DL instead of OL.
Looks like a good class all around.
