I'm sure they meant to say that Kellen Kulbacki was the outstanding player.

All-Tournament Team

COLUMBUS, Ohio - James Madison was named the most outstanding player of the Buckeye Baseball Classic, which concluded Sunday at the New York Yankees Player Development Complex in Tampa, Fla. Kansas State went 4-0 to win the tournament championship and placed four players on the all-tournament team.

we might be the fourth best team in ohio..

wright state won 2 of 3 at Ole Miss (former Buckeye Dan Barker tossed a CG/shutout in game 1)
Kent St won 2 of 3 at Florida
Miami won 2 of 3 at winthrop


very impressive weekend for ohio baseball..with the exception of our buckeyes.

CleveBucks......... strange but I just had a conversation with someone about 30 minutes ago and said the same thing. Coach Todd and his assistants (with the exception of Parker) need to move on and OSU needs to get some new blood in the program. They just don't show any fire or enthusiasm ....... The Bucks need a new generation of coaches who can relate better to the players and get better performance out of them.

Good point about the assistants. Bangtson was the only one worth anything on that staff, and once he left for Akron Todd got even deeper in a hole.

You gotta wonder who will go first, Todd or John Markell (hockey). OSU was falling behind even the in-state schools in wrestling, baseball, and hockey. Wrestling looks like it's on its way back, now it's time for Gene Smith to do something about the other two.
