Robiskie is about to make some appearances in the next few weeks and Todd Boeckman is going to be in Bellfontaine for the Home Show later this month.

Any more info on the LAURINAITIS signings at Wal Mart would be appreciated ie what items etc can be brought in or will be available. I can't imagine him only signing for 1hr and 15mins?

AJ Hawk signs March 9 at Tuttle C Heroes, private signing, have to drop off your items.

$40 for smaller items, $60 for bigger items....

seems a bit pricey for me...

This doesn't exactly fall directly into the "Autograph Session" catagorie, but still always has some pretty good Speakers / Attendees where I've done very well in grabbing a few autographs.

At past luncheons: Archie, Cornelius Greene, John Hicks, Jim Houston, Michael Wiley, Dee Miller, Mike Vrabel, Coach Bruce & Cooper...and a few of the then current players over the last few years: Troy Smith, Little Animal, Malcolm Jenkins, & others, though it is discouraged to ask the current players for their autographs while attending. :paranoid:

It's also a fantastic event when you need to get your "football fix":

The Coach Tressel, Spring Preview Luncheon

@ the WHAC

Wednesday, April 8th 10:30 - 1:00

Tickets are $75 (with proceeds going to Coach Tressel's Cancer Research Foundation & Coach Bruce's Alzheimers Research Foundation)

Your ticket gets you in to hear Coach Tress speak on the upcoming season, as well as hear several of the Team's veteran players speak about their particular position group and their own expectations for the year.

There is usually both a live and silent auction on all kinds of sports memorabilia, events, etc. (always heavily represented by items signed by past Buckeye Greats and those in this past year's graduating class)

Lunch is usually picnic style: Bar-B-Q sandwiches, baked beans, that sort of thing. You get a Coach Tressel Spring Preview t-shirt, and usually a few other freebies: the current Buckeye Sports Bulletin addition, Bucknuts Recruiting magazine, etc.

And this year's special guest speakers (in addition to coach and the players) will be Dick LaBeau & Santonio Holmes, for all you Buckeye-Steelers fans.

For more info, you can call 614-390-9234 or check out www.buckeyespringkickoff.org

Mods,
I am in no way affiliated with this event, any of the sponsers, or in any other fashion, directly or indirectly. (other than attending the last few years)

I hope my post doesn't violate the intent of this forum. (just wanted to be thorough with the info I provided)

:oh:

Sorry. Enough is enough. Many of the posters in this thread do not contribute anything outside of this thread...its pretty easy to see how we are being used for a sole purpose.

If that is a problem, feel free to take your updates elsewhere.

I don't contribute much at all.... but i am a HUGE buckeye collector, no quote marks... this site has helped me to find out about signings i would normaly have NO idea about. I don't profit from them im anyway besides added to what i think is one of the better Buckeye personal collections around.

Just my 2 cents

There's no issue with noting the dates and times for signings here, so that those interested can be find out their location and schedule.

It's things like promoting of products, and negative comments about those who are signing their autographs that became a problem.

Your 2 cents are the exact reason for our actions...this thread is for people like you.

Has anybody on here tried to stick around after games to get autographs? At the one I stuck around for last year, the players for the most part seemed pretty willing to sign as many autographs as they could. I was wondering if anybody had ever had any luck getting Coach Tressel's autograph before or after a game? Or if anybody knows of any events where I could get an auto of him I would appreciate it.
