Beanie Wells Cancelled

Beanie Wells Cancelled out for the Lima Mall Signing this Sunday 2-4pm
Malcolm Jenkins will still be there from 2-4 pm & Beanie Wells has rescheduled for Friday February 27th 6:00 to 8:00. Team Shop wants to appologize to anyone for this inconvience, but Beanie had to attend a camp in Chicago. It was brought to our attention approx. 4:00 Thursday that he wouldn't be able to attend.
We were looking at adding another player/players to this Sundays signing with Malcolm but wasn't sure whom to add since we couldn't get Robo to replace Beanie. I know alot of people would have loved to see Robo attend but for numerous reasons.... It didn't work!!

Open sessions

Any word on any sessions coming up near the Columbus area that are going to allow us to bring in our own pictures to be autographed?

I know I had to wait till Troy Smith finished his first year in the NFL to get the open sessions, but I was hoping maybe somebody would be able to change things. Is there a reason that most of the stores only allow items purchased from the store, other than to get rid of their old inventory?

The ONLY place I know of that doesn't allow outside items is the Buckeye Corner "Senior Tour" events. Everyplace else lets you bring in your own items.

just got back from the boeckman signing in piqua.very unorganized! i got there and there about 1230 and there was only about 20 ppl in line,so i got 2 tickets (first one free, second one $5) got in line about 115 and a few min later a promoter or security or somebody came and said they were goin by order of ticket numbers.i looked and i had 502 and 503! thats stupid.if ppl want the autograph they should get in line and wait.first come first serve right? there was supposed to be a limit of 3 per but if u got one ticket and waited a few min and went back up you could get as many as you wanted for free.or tell them you need one for your wife, son etc. and he would give you them free.overall todd was very nice to talk to and at least ill know what to expect tomorrow for freeman

HA!!
Sorry I am not laughing at you.. I am actually laughing because they were trying to tell me the other day how easy and organized it is with the number system. I kind of listened and shrugged it off. You are right... Some of the fun about going to these signings is talking to the people in line and just being around the buckeye atmosphere. Now, If you aren't the talkative type then the number system might work!!
I will be helping at the Malcolm Jenkins signing tomorrow in Lima and I promise that it will run very smooth.. We have learned alot from the Laurinaitis signing early this year. And the best photos in the Biz will be represented.

Personally I love the number system. It allows for things to go smoothly when ran right. That system allows for you to not waste hours upon hours waiting in line. I do like meeting people but I value my time more so. I do alot of graphing I do not do many store signings, I tend to hit up other venues like stadiums, hotels, etc. and I know I have to put some time in there. But there is nothing worse then waiting in line for a few hours to pay for a graph. Thats just me. Also the signing in Canton was such a rip off. It used to be a good event that has really gone down hill. I had tickets for today and didn't even waste my time driving to Canton for it. Atleast the charity got the money. Sorry had to vent was kind of dissapointed in that as well.

well went to the freeman signing today thinkin that it would be a lil easier since i knew what to expect...wrong.i was number 454.when they called out 400-450 i got my stuff ready.then some ppl with 300s somehow got missed (cuz they were shoppin probly) so they stopped the number callin and let all them go next.after about another half hr they called my number.u should tell whoever u talked to that that way doesnt work or get more organized lol

We actually had the best running signing I think I have been involved in today in Lima with Malcolm. He was an absolute treat and a wonderful person. The line went so fast and smooth and people were very understanding finding out at the last minute that Beanie had cancelled yet he is rescheduled for Friday February 27th 6-8.
The number system I think is crappy... Now if people would pay attention and be where they can hear their numbers then maybe it would work... But you get that many people in one place they seem to forget what their reasoning being there was. Anyway, No way are we ever going to a number system!!
Someone said they ran out of photos for Boeckman on Saturday and then ran out of photos for Freeman on Sunday and the people weren't really happy!! Now, just a thought... But if you are giving out the first auto. for free and anything after is $5.00.... Wouldn't you expect a large crowd and be prepared?

I'm sorry but the number system is awful. I ALWAYS arrive at a signing 5-10 minutes before it starts and the longest I've ever waited was 30 minutes. I went today to see Freeman and arrived at 1:55. Unfortunately, all of the locals arrived at 10 a.m. and picked up a ticket so that they could come back at 2 (some even at 3) and ditch everyone. I didn't get an autograph until 3:40 and that was after Marcus agreed to stay an extra 20-30 minutes to finish up for the fans. He really didn't have to do it but he's a pretty nice guy.

And yes, they ran out of photos. Some people were getting him to sign blank pieces of paper.... I didn't really see the reason for that, but what do I know?
