BSB Joins the Scout Network

We need a scorecard to keep up with the changes. Scout announcement and BSB announcement. Coach Conley is once again with Scout.

I looked around for a thread that dealt with Scout, Ozone, Rivals, BSB, Duane Long, BK, Helwagon, Mr. Bucknuts etc., but couldn't find anything. Anyways I had a couple of questions for discussion about the thread subject.

Now that Scout and BSB are officially joined at the hip, what becomes of OSU-Rivals. Do they eventully fizzle out, especially with advent of ESPN getting involved with Bucknuts and Scout joining with BSB?

For awhile now, BK has been irrelevant to OSU recruiting media IMHO. Did Bucknuts ask him to join or did BK pursue the relationship?

There is another thread out there - but it has the focus of Bucknuts - Scout parting ways.

Rivals is IMO the big loser thus far for Ohio State oriented sites.

From the look of this thread on BN (Free Boards) Duane was approached by Mr Bucknuts. Quite likely that BK was also approached in similar fashion - and, in both instances, I suspect the interest was immediate and mutual.

BSB has always been a great rag - by far the best pre-Internet news on OSU.

great move by scout. They needed someone with great OSU news.

I hope my weekly BSB doesn't say SCOUT/BSB.
