Well, I wouldn't want to be seen on the wrong side of the ball, but if I were a TCUN fan, I'd be reminding them of how much they have invested in this young man and encouraging them not to give up on him. I mean, he's an emotionally balanced future Heisman winner. Ain't nobody else gonna get them to that next national championship. It's time to double down on Bryce and roll into Columbus with a Michigan Man at QB!

Kyle Whittingham: Bryce Underwood is Michigan's QB1 'right now'​

"He's our QB right now," Whittingham said. "It's not something that's infinite. At some point, we've got to turn a corner, and we've got to see improvement, as we've got to do with a bunch of stuff. We've got to see improvement out of the coaches. It's not just on Bryce, and it's not just Bryce's job that is not absolutely set in concrete. Nobody's is."

Underwood drew strong reviews from Whittingham and Michigan's offensive assistants during training camp, showing clear improvement in their eyes following a shakier spring. But his strides didn't translate to the WMU game.

"It's unfortunate, disappointing, because we see him every day and he's been very sharp all through fall camp," Whittingham said. "So, I don't have a great explanation right now, other than we hope to see improvement between Game 1 and Game 2 in the live action. There's nobody who wants to be great more so than Bryce."

I guess dip shit completely forgot about the first hail Mary that was flung completely out of the end zone out of bounds. The "intangible" in this case was getting a 2nd chance he shouldn't have gotten and then WMU not defending that second chance very well. If Underwood had any sort of intangibles they wouldn't has needed a gift to beat WMU

I get the vibe that Whittingham has wanted to bench him already but other forces are gonna put their foot on his neck to not allow that. That ridiculous NIL money really puts the coach in a tough spot.
