Anyone else? I have Firefox and MSIE each on 5 minute reloads, and haven't seen any issues today (or at all since the thick of this thread). Doesn't mean what Max is seeing isn't happening, but it's always a question of which end is having the problem.

Max, do you use NoSpam! (a Firefox extension)?
Oops; sorry. No, I use plain old IE, running in Vista Home Premium. I actually run most of the time with no antivirus or antispam; I will once in awhile activate Avast! and run it to rid myself of accumulated crapola.

BTW, today has been absolutely frigid (lots of freezing!). As an aside, I really have not had any similar problems on any sites other than BP.

While I've heard from a few others that they see a lock-up here and there, there have been no other reports of it being quite the constant plague you're experiencing. That doesn't mean it's not a problem, just means it's a little harder to try and diagnose.

I'll PM some questions and ideas for you, as well as the URL of the MSU site that's also running YBN ads through SW, we'll see if you have the same issues over there as well.

I asked about NoScript! because it was causing me constant lock-ups a month or two ago because of some script in the ad code. It's not that NoScript was bad, or even that the ad code was bad, but the combination of the two just made the browser unhappy. Any little thing like that can cause problems, and those problems can be isolated to individual sites where there's a perfect storm of little issues that create bigger ones.

Anyway, we'll definitely try and sort this out.
