Browns at Panthers(-8.5)

Well, I was going to put down vcash on the Panthers, but I don't want to jinx it for everyone else. What will happen if I bet is the Panthers will still win, but it will be by only 7.

Ah screw it. $1 on the Panthters. The Browns are decimated by injuries, and the Raiders' 21-3 lead last weekend was no fluke - the Browns really are that bad.

Edwards taunting DB Gamble
Braylon Edwards, WR CLE

News: According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns WR Braylon Edwards plans to have a big game against Panthers DB Chris Gamble on Sunday. The two have some history. Edwards had some impressive games in college going up against Gamble, who played for Ohio State. "I destroyed Gamble every time I played him," said the former Wolverine. "If he happens to match up on me, I'll treat him just like I treat anybody else - I'm going to try and destroy him." The last time these two met was in 2003 when Michigan beat OSU 35-21.Edwards caught seven passes over Gamble for 130 yards and two touchdowns. He had another 87-yard TD nullified by a holding call. The two even swaped a few punches as Edwards drew Gamble into a personal foul penalty. "I know Chris Gamble like the back of my hand," said Edwards. "They matched him up on me both years and I know him probably better than anybody in this league."

I'm thinking that until Edwards starts showing something at the professional level he might want to forget about what he did in college. That was then and this is now.

The worst part of the article is when he says he no one can top what he does on the field, as long as he is doing what he is supposed to do. It was a reference to Steve Smith being the best receiver on the field. Now, I do not know much about Steve Smith, but I have heard any negative comment toward him just fires him up.

Browns go up 3-0....defense gets a stop....we get the ball back and Frye throws a easy pass for a catch to Northcutt who lets the ball bounce off of his chest and intercepted for a touchdown.....what more can Frye do?

Inconsistent players.....its depressing.

Nate Salley?

Meanwhile, the Browns are back to doing what they do best. Somebody ship Dennis Northcutt off to the CFL. If you are an NFL WR, you HAVE TO catch balls that are behind you. No excuses.

I still think those should go as errors on the WR rather than ints to the QB. Frye didn't do anything wrong.
