Browns at Bears(-14.5)

What is it that makes this weeks line almost double what last week's was - against what I think isn't as good a team? I realize this one's on the road and last weeks was at home, but if you're betting on a Browns game and think home/road makes a damn bit of difference, you belong in a mental institution.

Last week's line was a gift. This one looks like a trap. The Bears don't seem all that good, and the Browns kept it pretty close in the final preseason game against them. I think a Cribbs return TD and a FG by the Browns might be just enough to piss off a lot of people with a 24-10 loss.

I'll have to think about this one a little bit more, but I'm leaning toward avoiding it altogether.

I agree with everything you have said above but are we being foolish thinking that the Browns can really score some points:tongue2: and cover the spread:huh:

It happened two weeks ago against the Squealers. Cribbs took one to the house on special teams and the offense pulled a TD out of their asses. Result? a 27-14 loss when the line was CLE +15.5.

I wasn't even giving them that much credit this week - Cribbs takes another one to the house and Cutler throws a pick at his own 25 - the Browns go 3 & out on that series and kick a FG and you have 10 points without the offense doing shit, which might be just enough to ruin my day.
