oh yeah? well fix your sig....it no longer applies.

mleah.

Nah man - it's still great!

Back to Brett, I love him as a player/warrior, but the interview he gave seemed - to me - to be very out of character for him.

I mean, he is a friggin' multi-millionaire, with a posse of very capable advisors, and he made it sound like he was some little kid being pushed around by Skut Farkus. Fire the PR person Brett.

Let me preface this by saying...I really want Favre to play next year.

But what an idiot....lets just call this guy Rich Rodriguez.

Using a company issued Packers phone to repeatedly call Brad Childress and the Minnesota offensive coordinator? Good work Brett!!! I know you're from Mississippi and all, but you should company phones aren't good for calling one of your biggest rivals in the NFC.

Ouch!!! I guess the Packers do have a slam dunk tampering case...I think I heard Clayton say a few days ago the Paclers were sitting on some heavy ammo regarding tampering. I;d say this qualifies.

Report: Goodell tells Packers to resolve Favre issue

Under orders from Roger Goodell to resolve their impasse with Brett Favre, the Green Bay Packers have begun making calls about their former franchise QB, according to online reports.
Goodell talked to Packers GM Ted Thompson, who confirmed the team was ready to move on without Favre. Goodell asked Thompson to begin exploring the market for the disgruntled QB, acccording to WEAU 13, an NBC television affiliate in Wisconsin.
The report also says Goodell told Thompson that he will reinstate Favre as an active player, should he make the request and that the commissioner has also spoken to Favre and promised his assistance.
The team wasted no time, calling several teams Tuesday night -- including at least one NFC team -- according to a report on NFL.com.
Meanwhile, there are also updates on the tampering charges filed by Green Bay against the Vikings.
Cell phone charges, to be specific. The Packers say phone records show Favre used his team-issued cell phone to make several calls to Vikings coach Brad Childress and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Using the Packer issued cell phone to call the Vikings was not real smart.

ProFootballTalk.com - SHAREHOLDERS HOSTILE TO THOMPSON

Multiple reports indicate that the majority of the thousands of shareholders who showed up today in Green Bay were anti-Thompson and pro-Brett Favre.
The Green Bay Press Gazette reports that Thompson was greeted by a number of fans shouting, “Bring Brett back.”

And a PFT reader who attended the meeting estimated that three-fourths of those in attendance were booing Thompson.
