This sucks, no way around it. On to the next one, there are other fish in the sea, yada yada yada, but you are not replacing on of the top DE's in the country with a closely equivalent talent this late in the game, particularly when we need depth badly at this position with Lewis, Holmes and likely Hubbard all leaving this year. We do not just need one Brenton Cox, we need three of them with deciding to only take Young as the only DE last year. We better land Oweh and T. Smith bare minimum, or this could be a real issue in the future. I looked at our roster and if Hubbard does leave, we have Bosa, Young and Cooper at DE... three incredible players but literally nobody else, that is not even a two deep.

This class is amazing but we do need to regroup at this position now. Best of luck to Brenton at whichever southern school he was inevitably going to pick though, this should come as no surprise really. But we need to hit this position hard or it is going to be a problem. Good news is we still have T. Smith, Oweh and Friday that hopefully we can bring on board.

It's a big loss considering Bosa and Young won't be here long! Cox would grow to probably 275 lbs, similar to a Holmes body type or Young! Saying that Jackson will be better isn't relevant because they play different positions! Depth is great at DT right now but DE isn't!

Dunno man. Of the misses in this class, AFAIAC, this is the only one that really hurts. Big time player and doesn't have the crazy issues that some of the others appear to have. I think he would have been a solid add to the class. Understand his decision, respect it... don't like it.
