Yup. They needed to hire a different actor as the original (Don Harvey) had a scheduling conflict (HBO show We Own This City). Was that supposed to be the guy who noticed him in the mall a while back?

I saw the sweater and thought "Oh it's this guy"....but then the actor didn't look the same. I thought they did a poor job casting.....the original guy was aggressive and ass hole-ish. This dude was just a weenie.Yup. They needed to hire a different actor as the original (Don Harvey) had a scheduling conflict (HBO show We Own This City).
He wanted to make sure that guy that IDed him would never tell anybody.....because if he did, he now has dirt on him. It's the opposite of wanting to get caught.Really good episode and classic Slipping Jimmy. I thought that was supposed to be the guy following him at the mall but wasn't positive. This show keeps you on your feet, that is for sure. I was talking to my dad about the episode yesterday and wondered if Jimmy is trying to get caught? I know the lengths he went through to pull it off (for a pretty small amount of return tbh), but I think he might want all this to be over by now. It could just be that he can't help himself from pulling these stunts, or maybe he wanted to pass off his moves to some other guys knowing his time might be up. Oh and Jerry from Parks and Rec as the security guard that is in love with Cinabon was pretty hilarious, really into his Cornhuskers haha.
Not really sure but it will be interesting to see how they end the show. Seems like there are a ton of ways it could end and so far there have been many surprises, or at least to me.
I really thought the last episode was meh. I didn't need another episode devoted mostly to Slipping Jimmy antics, the last one was good enough. I realize they are setting it up for how he is probably going to get caught and there were good parts (the call with Francesca was good and the brief moment with Walt and Jesse), but they spent way too long on the Slipping Jimmy stuff and wish they would have spent more time on the Breaking Bad side of things. I say this because there are two episodes left and I am not really sure they are going to be able to cover what viewers are hoping to see. It's been an excellent season, I just don't love the last episode.
I mean, the schemes taking place in this past episode were way more Saul than Slipping Jimmy as they were far more sinister. Clearly, whatever happened on that phone call with Kim caused something in Gene/Jimmy to snap into the Saul persona, just like when Kim left him at the end of "Fun and Games."
The Breaking Bad-era flashbacks were just plot framing devices to show how Saul is so driven by ego and money that he doesn't care what collateral damage is left in his wake. Saul was told by Mike to cut bait on Walt after the kidnapping/encounter in the desert but Saul just couldn't help himself. He knew he stood to make a massive financial gain by pursing a partnership with Walt. He's now repeating the same mistakes with this identity theft scheme in Omaha but seemingly doesn't care as he really has nothing left to lose.
Quite frankly, the only thing I really want to see at this point is if there is any further resolution with Kim. Otherwise, I'm just enjoying the rest of the ride. If I wanted to watch Breaking Bad, I'd cue up Netflix.
Duke's is definitely sworn by in the South and didn't start making its way to grocery store shelves up this way until maybe five or so years ago (I could be wrong there). I believe Blue Plate is a big deal mayo down there as well. If it's big in the South, it's probably gonna be pretty good lolReflecting a few days later (about the last episode of BCS) and...
...I'm from Ohio and I always thought Miracle Whip was mayonnaise. Heehee.
I didn't even know what the hell Duke's was.
